Competitors Join Forces to Revolutionize Discount Health & Lifestyle Benefits using Mobile Technology
Originally competitors, Bill Heneghan III, former CMO of Amacore Group and Howard Cracower, founder and CEO of MedNet Benefits have joined forces to form Benefit Provisions, LLC. This partnership will take the Benefits Industry into the age of mobile marketing technology and social media strategies.
Benefit Provisions will capitalize on the expertise of their team that produced over $200M in private-branded discount health and lifestyle benefits, as well as $600M in insurance premium for its insurance carrier partners. These partners included some of the largest insurance companies in the nation, such as AIG, United States Life, Aflac, United HealthCare and Humana.
Benefit Provisions is privately held and is headquartered in Altamonte Springs, Florida. As a one-stop wholesale provider of white label health and lifestyle benefits, they provide a full turn-key approach to marketing and database monetization. Their services include: Discounted Health Services; Lead Generation Programs; Sales Incentives (including Travel, Grocery and Restaurant); Customizable Insured and Non-Insured Health Plans; Lifestyle Benefit Plans; (including ID Theft, Legal, Pet, Roadside Assistance and Travel); Website and App development; Customer Acquisition; Order Confirmation Services; Customer Service and Fulfillment.
“To meet the needs of today’s consumers, we’ve integrated social media and mobile technology into the way service providers, employers, marketing organizations and associations connect with consumers”, says Heneghan. He goes on to say that, “Benefit Provision’s private-branded apps, which are available on the Apple & Google stores, deliver multiple levels of benefits with call-to-action initiatives – including push notifications, click-to-call features and mCommerce.
“To intensify the power behind our mobile apps, we provide our clients with a dashboard that employs our proprietary instant messaging technology permitting our clients to stay in touch with their members through information bulletins, reminders, updates or new product offerings. We know from experience that these touch points extend the life-value of each member. Unlike email communication, which is only opened by 13% of recipients, our push/text technology is read by 97% of recipients within 3-minutes. Unlike many mobile apps that suffer a short lifespan, ours is kept by the consumer due to the exceptional health discounts built right into our app – no one wants to delete an app that saves them thousands of dollars annually”, adds Cracower.
Benefit Provisions’ edge is its development team, dedicated to creating new ways for clients to attract new consumers, while extending the life value of their member base. “We differ from the many wholesale providers of benefits in that we do not just provide benefits – our goal is to enhance the value of each benefit and improve its ease of use, while integrating leading edge technology that promotes and tracks utilization. With our technology, we can now give our clients and their members a communication link like never before,” said Marisabel Wolfinger, COO, Benefit Provisions.
Markets served include associations, insurance companies, banks, credit unions, brokerage/consulting firms, insurance agencies, TPAs and employers. 24HROnCallDoc is an example of a recently-launched Telemedicine App that can be downloaded from either the Apple or Google stores.
